‘Not a Single Word’ -now republished.

The book Not a Single Word (now republished as an updated edition) contains the utterly ascribed thoughts of a man called Harry Hardacre. Now Harry is a man with a profound learning disability. Despite being well into his fifth decade Harry hasn’t yet learned to talk: not even a single word. The hard reality is that Harry will never learn to talk, not in words that you or I might fully understand. And therefore he will never be able to tell his own story; not in book form.

But that doesn’t mean that you shouldn’t get to know his story. No, on the contrary, that means it is even more important that you get to know a bit about Harry, and about his life. That is why I, the so-called author of this book, have taken it upon myself to tell a bit of his story for him, on his behalf.

You see, I want his voice to be heard so that his life can be positively marked in some way. And all you’ve got to do to enable that is to read it.
